Copy Roast – Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 4th June 2025

These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase of the Copy Roast product from Clevr Copy. By purchasing the Copy Roast, you agree to these terms.

1. Product Overview

The Copy Roast is a paid digital service that provides a professional review of your existing website copy, landing page, sales page, or other nominated content. It includes written and/or video feedback highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and actionable suggestions to improve clarity, persuasiveness, and alignment with your business goals.

2. Delivery

  • You will receive your Copy Roast via email within 5 business days of submitting your payment and providing the required information.

  • Your roast may be delivered as a combination of written comments, annotated screenshots, and/or a video walkthrough.

3. What We Need From You

To complete the Copy Roast, you must provide:

  • A link to the copy you want roasted (or a document upload)

  • Information about your business, audience, and offer

  • Any specific goals, challenges, or areas of focus

We reserve the right to delay or cancel the roast if the required information is not provided within 7 days of purchase.

4. Scope

The Copy Roast provides feedback on existing copy only. It does not include:

  • Full copy rewrites

  • Design or tech fixes

  • Brand strategy consulting

If you require deeper support, we may recommend a separate service.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment is required upfront via our secure checkout.

  • Prices are in AUD and include GST.

  • No work will commence until payment has been received in full.

6. Refund Policy

Due to the digital and time-based nature of the service, we do not offer refunds for completed Copy Roasts. If you are unhappy with the service, please contact us within 7 days and we will do our best to resolve the issue.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your original content. We retain the right to reuse anonymised examples from the roast (e.g. “before and after” excerpts) for educational or promotional purposes, unless you request otherwise in writing at the time of booking.

8. Disclaimer

The Copy Roast is provided as professional feedback and advice. Results may vary depending on factors such as your implementation, market, and business model. We do not guarantee specific outcomes (e.g. increased conversions or revenue).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the Copy Roast.

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.

This clause does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable by a Court of law, the legality, validity and enforceability of the remaining parts will not be affected.

11. Waiver

Any failure or delay by us to enforce any provision of these Terms will not be interpreted as a waiver of our rights or remedies.
